Extension Conditions

Extension of stay, if approved, will normally follow the 2-2-3 years pattern, or in accordance with the duration of the employment contract (whichever is shorter).

If you have successfully completed a full-time post-secondary program in Hong Kong, you will normally be allowed to extend your stay to pursue another locally accredited full-time program at a higher level of study.
