School Year Calendar Guide

Most international schools follow a similar calendar to what you would find in other northern-hemisphere schools in Anglophone countries (usually August-May or September-June). The summer vacation is from June to end of July or August. The winter break is usually for two/three weeks (the last two weeks of December and one week of January). The Spring break usually takes place during Holy Week (the week before Easter) or the week after Easter.

Most schools have not put up school calendar for the coming year. Please look up the websites for more specific and updated info:

The school academic year in Indian schools starts in March or April and runs for one year. The years are not divided by summer breaks, and students don’t necessarily have a break between years. The calendar varies a bit from school to school so be sure to check with our school’s administration.
