Open-air Markets in Sydney
There are numerous open-air markets in Sydney, large and small. There are also specialist markets, such as organic and farmers markets. Some, but not all, market vendors will accept a little friendly bargaining as their prices can be flexible, particularly towards the end of the day when they want to get rid of stock.
Paddy’s Markets is located in Haymarket, Chinatown. You can find cheap, fresh produce, clothes, toys and other items. This includes a wide selection of Asian vegetables and herbs. Most vendors will accept bargaining. Paddy’s is undercover and so it is operational during wet weather.
