Beijing Jockey Club. http://www.beijingjockeyclub.com (6518 2312). Membership to the Jockey Club includes free entrance on race day, CIP rooms, and more. Three international standard race tracks hosts races ever Saturday from March to November.
Beijing Shougang Basketball Center. (8829 6158). Beijing’s CBA-level basketball team, Capital Steel, plays here from October to March/April.
Capital Gymnasium. (6835 4055). This venue hosts special events like figure skating, sumo wrestling and concerts.
Fengtai Sports Center. (6381 1576) From mid-March to mid-October, this center hosts the city’s premier football team, Beijing Guo’An.
Goldenport Motor Park. http://www.goldenport.com.cn (8433 3497). Car and motorcycle club races are hosted at this motor park where the new track can take Champ Car series and A1 Grand Prix races.
Lucheng Sports School (6123 9856). Home of the Beijing Tigers baseball team.
Buying Tickets
Tickets for sporting events can be bought at the venues themselves, although the best option is to order them online from a ticket seller for convenience. Tickets can often be delivered within 24 hours if you live within the Fourth Ring Road. Usually tickets can be paid for in cash on delivery. Alternatively, you can often choose where you would like to pick up tickets during the purchase process. Choices can include the ticket seller’s location or the venue box office.
