Serviced apartments in Beijing are of the luxury kind; very easy to find, but expensive to live in. There are no low-end options. If you are being brought over for a job, chances are that your employer has arranged for you and your family members to stay in a serviced apartment for several weeks (or months) until you find other housing arrangements. Many service apartments in Beijing are located in a wing of large international hotels. For example, The Westin is both a hotel and a serviced apartment provider. There are lots of serviced apartments in the city, with the largest concentration located in the CBD area. Not much sets most serviced apartments apart, since most are often quite new and attached to international standard luxury hotels. Serviced apartments are furnished and equipped with all the modern conveniences and all the basics you’ll need to get you started like cutlery, cooking utensils, and fresh linen via housekeeping service.
