A unified ambulance service operates in Dubai. It deals with emergency call outs and also provides transportation for patients to and from medical facilities. There are 56 ambulance centres throughout the city. More information about the service they provide can be found at http://www.ambulance.gov.ae.

The emergency number for the Dubai Ambulance Service is 999.
