Child carers register on the site, and parents can either search the site to find a child carer, or list a work offer that child carers can apply for. They currently have around 4000 child carers registered with them.

RockMyBaby is a nanny and babysitting agency that provides high quality babysitters, nannies and other services. They are the largest agency in New Zealand and they are very particular about who they recruit with police vetting and references obtained for all their staff.
Standard babysitter bookings will cost around $14 per hour in Auckland with a minimum booking time of three hours.

Claro is an evening babysitting agency. Babysitters can be booked to work from 5.30pm onwards and they have a range of babysitters aged from 18 to 60+ years. Most of their babysitters are qualified nannies, others are nurses or teachers, or Mums/Grandmas who are looking to earn some extra income.

The bureau was established when the Karitane Hospital closed in 1978 and has now expanded into the permanent and casual nanny market. Karitane Nurses have specialised training in working with newborns and are very much in demand to work with newborns and multiple births.
Babysitting, temporary nanny or temporary registered nurse rates start from $18-$20 per hour with a three hour minimum booking.
Permanent placement rates are negotiable but should be in the range of $180 – $250 per day.
