Mail Order Guide
Mail order is non-existent in Spain. Ebay has barely got off the ground and face-to-face transactions are the norm. The Spanish postal service has a (now) undeservedly bad reputation and consumers are loathe to risk their items going astray in the post.
If you like to shop remotely, though, you are in for a bit of good news as Spain has been catching onto the online shopping phenomenon in recent years. Of course, you also have services like amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and recently, gap.com to meet many of your needs, but listed below are just a few of the major Spanish retailers that allow for on-line shopping.
