There is no additional registration process required outside of the application processes for various visas and employment passes that allow visitors to remain in Singapore. Visitors traveling to Singapore on regular tourist visit pass need to indicate a local address on the embarkation card. Longer-term passes also require holders to provide a local address; when necessary, changes of address must be made in writing or via online portals with the issuing agency (either ICA or MOM).
Employment Pass, PEP, and EntrePass holders can inform the Work Pass Division of the MOM of a change in residential address via EP Online, or by manual notification at the Work Pass Division in the MOM Building at 18 Havelock Road. The new address will only be reflected on the Disembarkation/Embarkation Card (Green Card) when the Employment Pass is next renewed. The Employment Pass holder should print the online Acknowledgment Letter and keep it with the Disembarkation/Embarkation Card. Visa holders should inform the MOM within five days of taking up a new residential address.
Visitors on Student Passes should update changed addresses with the ICA via the ICA website or in person at the ICA Visitors Service Centre.
