Singapore’s department stores are great places for kitchen equipment, especially the basement housewares section of CK Tangs at the corner of Orchard and Scotts Roads and the beautiful basement kitchen section of Takashemiya.

  • IKEA: This home superstore also carries a wide selection of highly affordable kitchen and dining equipment, including cookware, dishware, and kitchen furniture and storage solutions. Locations at Alexandra and Tampines.
  • Lim’s Art and Living: Offers a small selection of serving and dishware, #02-01 Holland Road Shopping Centre, Tel: 6467 1300
  • TOTT:This is the Ikea of kitchenware shops. It sells pretty much anything you can think of in terms of kitchen ware.
  • Pantry Pursuits: An online retailer of premium cooking utensils and cookware.
  • Sia Huat: A great local shop that sells professional cookware at very affordable prices.

01 A service of SingPost, vPost, allows users to set up overseas mailing addresses in the US, Europe, and Japan so that buyers can purchase from there.
02 When searching for rental properties find listings that are not co-broked. You will be charged commission on co-broked properties.
03 When searching for property look for any nearby spaces that may be built on. There is a lot of development taking place and building work is noisy.
04 Despite what many websites say, quarantine is no longer required for the majority of domestic animals arriving in Singapore.
