There are a whole host of expat websites available on the Internet that can assist you with various elements of your move overseas. We have put together a list of recommended expat websites that can be used together with our international relocation guides in order to assist your relocation to go as smoothly as possible.

  • AAFSW (The Associates of the American Foreign Service Worldwide)
    A non-profit organization which offers support and advice for the family and spouses of servicemen abroad.
  • USAGov
    This is part of the US government’s main website which provides information on formalities and legal aspects of living abroad. It is a valuable resource for any American who is considering a job overseas.
  • British Expat
    An information site that discusses financial, social and cultural impacts of living overseas. There is a large forum where users can interact with one another with some members posting blogs on a regular basis.
  • Canuck Abroad
    This site caters to Canadian expats by providing information and resources about moving abroad. It is also a useful site for Americans who are thinking about relocating.
  • Expats Abroad
    A site dedicated to helping British expats to connect with other British citizens living abroad.
  • Go Work Abroad
    A British site which features articles on finding a job overseas as well as other imperative information for working and living abroad.
