My father passed in Janurary. We have 9 months to fill out tax forms. We are paying all utility costs on the two apartments he had, taxes…Is it deductible on his inheritance tax forms. He had a trust, not a will, no probate. After we pay the inheritance taxes, do we get taxed again on what is left of our shares? There is 5 of us, and the estate isn’t worth much.
