I have a question about something I read on your website. It was said that there was no longer a requirement for quarantine for most domestic animals. This was mentioned under the five tips section. I have read on many websites that say a 30 day quarantine is required. Where did you get the information saying it isn’t. Please help me get this straight because my husband and I may be relocating to Singapore and would hate to leave behind our dog if we do not have to put it through quarantine.

Valerie,
This comes from the Singapore AVA website:
http://www.ava.gov.sg/AnimalsPetSector/ImportExportTransOfAnimalR…
The quarantine rules depend on where you’re importing your pet from and whether they meet the specified requirements. Countries in categories A and B do not require quarantine for dogs and cats.
