Hello,
I am a British Citizen currently living in Canada.
My company will be working from home until at least January next year. I don’t know many people here so am struggling with my mental health. I would like to spend the next six months working from a European country instead, as my friends are dispersed across there.
I have no idea if this is possible but am doing my best to find out. I was wondering:
– If my employer would need to make any changes to my contract, pay or tax arrangements
– It is even possible for me to enter these countries without a job specifically in that country given the Covid situation. Ordinarily, I would be able to as an EU citizen
I am in touch with a few different services, mainly accountants, but it doesn’t feel like there’s much information on this out there. I would be grateful for any advice and resources you can share with me.
Thanks,
Katy
