My dad was/is an american expat living Germany. He died this past week. He has a german ex wife and a younger son with dual citizenship. my little brother is not considered competent and has a legal guardian. I’m my dad’s only other child/heir. What exactly do I need to be doing? What help should I be expecting to get? Should I be planning on going to Germany to figure out funeral and estate?
