This is a blog entry which featured in the New York Times and discusses moving out of America for work. It discusses the pros and cons in first person and is an excellent resource for anyone considering moving abroad to look for work.

It is written by a young single girl who wanted to break into journalism. While she moved to Berlin and largely discusses living in that city, many of the problems she encounters are similar to those faced by expats all over the world. She proves that it is possible to overcome it all and enjoy life overseas.

The freedom of a freelancer overseas is incomparable with any other profession as it is possible to move country as frequently as you like.
