Banking sector ensures expat demise

An article from The Toronto Star detailing how the crisis in London's financial sector - once one of the strongest in the world - has seen the exodus of hundreds of thousands of American and Canadian expats.

The majority have left due to redundancy; in fact, 130,000 have lost their jobs in the last two years, while others have left to ensure their survival in their company.

However, as people flee the city so do things start to improve for those expats who stick around. The housing market is excellent for buyers and those people who do see the crisis through will be in a very strong position. It comes down to whether or not those expats still in London want to take the risk.
