British Women of Moscow: Monthly Coffee Mornings
British Embassy, MoscowWhat:
An opportunity to meet fellow expatriates living in Moscow in an informal environment. There is plenty of time to chat and even to shop, as different artisans are invited each month to sell their wares during the meeting. A book exchange table will also be on offer (with proceeds going to a BWC-supported charity). Where:
The British Embassy is located on the river bank close to the White House. The entrance to the Embassy is on Protochny Pereulok.The nearest metro station is Smolenskaya - on the number 4 blue line (line number 3, also blue, will take you to the wrong side of the street!). The Embassy is a 5 min. walk from the station.
When:
2nd Tuesday of every month, excluding July and September. 10am-12noon.

Monthly coffee mornings are usually held at the British Embassy. The meetings are informal and there is plenty of time to chat and shop, as different artisans are invited each month to sell their wares during the meeting. The group also hosts a book exchange table (with proceeds going to a BWC-supported charity), and they offer "Living in Moscow" books for sale (2,000R. with proceeds going to charity).
