A number of different visas are available from Hong Kong immigration for various purposes. These include Transit/Visit, Employment, Capital Investment, and Study. You can read more about each of these visas in the individual sections.
If you wish to enter the country as a dependent of a visa holder, you can find relevant information in the section pertaining to the visa of the individual who will act as your sponsor, for example, if you will be the dependent of an individual with an employment visa you can learn more about this in the employment visa section.
