No ex-pat ever wants to get sick. However, if you were going to get sick when you were overseas, Dubai would be the place where you’d want it to happen. The doctors, nurses, and administrative staff all speak excellent English. Your expat health insurance company will have information, documentation, and all communication available in English. The clinics and hospitals are modern and well-equipped. Most of the doctors have been educated in the West. In fact, when it comes to healthcare, Dubai is like a home away from home.

There are numerous excellent medical facilities in Dubai and the rest of the UAE, so you should check around and ask your doctor or friends where you should go for medical treatment. Top Tips

01 Dubai might look like a Western country but it is still a Middle Eastern country. Make sure you know the rules and stay on the right side of the law.

03 Choose an area to live and a school for your children which is close to work location. This will save the whole family a lot of commuting time.
